Our facilities, all under one roof in Manchester

We do not outsource our work or drop-ship it in. Everything is designed, made and finished at our own premises on Stakehill Industrial Estate in Middleton, just outside Manchester. At over 6,000 square feet across two floors, on an established estate alongside a number of well known national companies, we have the space and the kit to take on almost any job, from a single engraved nameplate right up to signage for a whole site.

We have invested heavily in our production over the last few years. We can now print up to 3.2 metres wide in house, and our new production printer and laminator means large graphics are printed, laminated and finished for durability without ever leaving the building. Cutting is done on our Veloblade Nexus flatbed table, which has a generous 3.2m by 3m bed for accurate, repeatable cutting of boards, panels, vinyl and printed work at almost any size.

That investment also lets us offer greener options for customers who want them. We can print and cut recyclable cardboard signage and displays in house, which gives you a real alternative to plastics like PVC and Correx with no drop in print quality. It works particularly well for retail displays, point of sale, events and shorter runs, where cutting down on waste matters.

Printing

• Wide format UV printing up to 3.2m wide on our Jetrix LXiR320, for large banners, boards and wall graphics.
• Flatbed UV printing straight onto rigid boards and panels on our Canon Arizona (up to 3050 by 2500mm) and Mimaki JFX200-2513EX.
• Fast roll production on the Canon Colorado, plus the Mimaki 330-160 for durable printed graphics and vinyl.
• Print and cut vinyl on two Roland machines, the VG and VG2 (1600mm), for decals, window graphics and cut vinyl.
• Digital paper and card production on our Xerox 3100, for posters, leaflets and short runs.
• DTF and UV DTF printing for garment transfers, labels and stickers onto almost any surface.

Cutting, routing and engraving

• Veloblade Nexus 3230 flatbed cutter with a 3.2m by 3m bed, plus a Veloblade Volta 69+, for precise digital cutting of boards, vinyl, card and recyclable cardboard displays.
• AXYZ CNC router (3050 by 1525mm) for shaping panels, built up letters and three dimensional pieces.
• Laser and rotary cutting and engraving for fine detail, plaques and tactile or braille signage.

Lamination and finishing

• Three laminators, our Rollover, Easymount and Matrix machines, for scuff, scratch and weather resistant finishes.
• Fabrication and finishing, where signs are assembled, fitted with LEDs, checked over and made ready to install.

Workwear and branded clothing

• In-house embroidery and a heat press for branded uniforms and workwear.

Having this much capability under one roof is fairly unusual, and it is what lets us keep quality, cost and timing in our own hands rather than leaning on outside suppliers.

Our design studio sits alongside the workshop and takes your project from the first idea and visuals through to print ready artwork, so it stays with one team and one point of contact from initial sketch to the final fix on site.

Based in Manchester, working across the UK

We are based in Middleton on the edge of Manchester, but we work with businesses right across the country. There is no catchment area to worry about. We will travel to you, and we handle everything from a single local shop sign to multi-site rollouts the length of the UK, all looked after by the same team and finished to the same standard.

Naturally we do plenty of work closer to home across Greater Manchester and the North West, including Bury, Bolton, Rochdale, Stockport, Oldham, Salford, Tameside, Cheshire and Lancashire, but we are just as happy working further afield. Wherever your project is, get in touch.
